New Zealand hunting and shooting enthusiasts will have access to a greater array of products with NIOA announcing an exclusive agreement with American Outdoor Brands.

AOB is an in industry-leading provider of outdoor products including firearm brands such as Caldwell, Tipton, Frankford Arsenal and Wheeler as well as BOG accessories.

NIOA General Manager (New Zealand) Fraser Winskill said AOB’s product lines would add to the options for outdoor enthusiasts ready to take on their next adventure.

"AOB was established on the basis of providing premium products for rugged outdoor enthusiasts,” he said.

“We are thrilled to announce this exclusive agency agreement because it fits NIOA’s ambition to expand our product offering to meet the growing needs of the New Zealand hunting and shooting community.”

NIOA was founded in Queensland, Australia 50 years ago on connections to the sporting, recreational and hunting markets.

It is now the leading privately-owned supplier of firearms, weapons and ammunition in Australia and has established relationships with the New Zealand Defence Force and New Zealand police.

The company successfully integrated Auckland-based Sportways Distributors into the group in April.
